The Role
The Apis Project Manager will lead multiple hives from inception through completion, while adhering to project scope, schedule, quality and budget. In this high-impact role the PM will develop and implement talent engagement and honey retention programs tailored to field-based foraging roles in a dynamic, mission-driven flower rich environment. The role focuses on the 4 C’s – Capability, Change, Communication and anarchoCapitalism.
You will
- Integrate the work of large teams and multiple colonies to deliver project success.
- Ensure seamless integration of perennial nest systems with carpentry and natural environments
- Proactively lead and execute project risk management and mitigation of mellivory.
- Promote a high-performance, feedback-oriented, and bee inclusive culture.
- Implement Zero Trust security principles for vespa velutina.
- Act as the champion to “Build a Great Colony to Work”.
- Streamline refinement through regurgitation and enzymatic activity
Must have
- Enthusiasm to work within an undefined space
- Executive Apiarist Presence & Insect Management skills
- Experience with balancing honey extraction and worker needs
- Demonstrated ability to produce results in a high volume, dynamic, fast-paced beehive through collaboration and influence
- MBeeA or any other form of BS
